Halley & Salley — Young, Joyful, and Ready for Their Next Chapter Halley and Sally are two beautiful black Labrador sisters, 10–11 months old and weighing between 45 and 55 pounds plus. After spending their early months fending for themselves, they are now discovering what it means to live in a home — and they are blossoming. These girls are wonderfully good‑natured and eager to learn. They’ve already picked up basic cues like sit and down, and they’re practicing spending time in their crates. Leash walking is still a work in progress (the world is just so exciting), but both are improving with consistency and guidance. Halley and Sally adore people and get along beautifully with other dogs. They love car rides, long walks, and trips to the dog park, making them ideal adventure companions for an active person or family. After they’ve had their fun, they settle into the sweetest lap girls. Sally melts into affection and snuggles right in, while Halley prefers to investigate toys — especially those with squeakers or seams she can “engineer.” Transitioning from life outdoors to life indoors means lots of new experiences, and they’re handling it with grace. Each had a single early accident, but both clearly tried to communicate their needs — their foster simply didn’t yet know their signals. They are smart, communicative girls who are already improving. They nap well, recharge quickly, and are always ready for the next adventure. Just today, they enjoyed a three‑mile Greenway walk and charmed everyone they met at Lowe’s. Halley and Sally are resilient, affectionate, and full of potential. With continued structure, patience, and love, they will grow into extraordinary companions. They’re ready for a family who wants not just one dog — but a pair of joyful spirits who bring laughter, loyalty, and adventure wherever they go. Both are fully medically vetted, spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, and microchipped. Both were tested for heartworm, but Salley tested positive and is being treated.
