Zeke is as Labbie as they come, AKC Silver Labrador, born September 13, 2016 (2 years old), weights approx., 80 pounds and still very much puppy, but starting to be more settled. Zeke will require patients, and continued obedience training is a must so that he can reach his full potential. He will need an active family or companion willing to spend time with Zeke and enjoying time together. Zeke loves the water, staying busy and loves to play. Zeke started out scared of his own shadow, but now is a happy go lucky boy that just needs someone that understands Labs and can give him what he needs. He has come along way in the short period we have had him. He is house broken and crate trained and learning to walk well on a leash plus he has learned a few cues. He was a little apprehensive when going in and out of a car, but we have been working on it and he is doing much better. Zeke is a very affectionate dog and is good around other dogs we do not know about him around cats. We don't believe he would do well around small children simply because he has two left feet, but after plenty of exercise and he is calm he would be fine. Teens or young adults would be best since he is rambunctious. He does show some fear towards strange men, but has since be much better, so a little time to warm up, but once he does be prepared to receive licks and kisses! We feel with the right family Zeke will thrive and be an awesome companion! We received many applications for him initially but then he wasn't ready, but we are now considering all applications and feel he is ready to go to the right forever home. Only the right fitting family will be considered. Zeke has been fully vetted; neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines, heart worm tested negative and placed on prevention plus microchipped. If you are interested in Zeke please go complete the pre-adoption application.
